The RGV GME Consortium (formerly DHR Cares Foundation), a nonprofit organization (501(c)(3)), in partnership with the DHR Health Transplant Institute, is excited to launch the very first "Life: Live It, Then Give It 5K" on April 15, 2022.

 

Join runners, families, charities, and volunteers as we celebrate the lives saved, offer hope to those still waiting, and raise awareness of the need for organ donation in the Rio Grande Valley. 

 

This event will be filled with fun activities, food, and music. All proceeds will go to the RGV GME Consortium - Transplant Patient Fund to assist kidney and liver transplant patients with financial resources for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
