This 5K Run/Walk is to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. Â Team Lakewood, which is comprised of residents and staff of the Lakewood Retirement Community is the top fundraiser in the history of Richmond's Walk to End Alzheimer's. Â In 2022 we ranked 33rd nationwide in the event, which had over 52,000 teams. Â We hope to raise over $50,000 this year to support this organization, which supports persons living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers and research. Â You can help find a cure by participating in our first annual Lakewood/Alzheimer's 5K! 100% of the net profit from this race will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
Richmond Road Runners Club provides finish line services for the 5K under contract with the race organizers.
