First Annual Arts + Heart 5k Arts and Hearts Untimed 1 mile

 

Hebni is hosting our first ever 5k at Lake Lorna Doone Park! 

Hebni Nutrition Consultants, Inc. (Hebni) is a community based, non-profit (501 (c)(3)) agency formed in 1995 to educate high-risk, culturally diverse populations about nutrition strategies to prevent diet-related diseases. In their early beginnings, the Partners of Hebni developed intervention programs and educational tools such as the “Soul Food Pyramid” and “Sisters: Take Charge of Your Health” which address populations, who are at high risk for poor health outcomes. Hebni’s programs serve populations who may be at-risk for cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity.

Our 5k will feature an optional chip time and score for $15.  The 5k and Free fun run will be held from 8:00am - 10:00 am. After the 5k the participants of the 5k will be able to take part in our wellness event where we will have artisans, and resources available to advocate for improvement of overall health while supporting our local artisans. 

This event is in partnership with Orange County Florida health, Florida Public Health Association, The City of Orlando, 26 Health, Clincloud, Simply Health, and Whole Cities Foundation.
