Project Sunshine 5K: How Far Will You Run/Walk For Pediatric Patients? 5K Run

Join the Edgewood College Project Sunshine Chapter for a 5K run/walk open to any college students, friends, family, faculty, and staff. The flat, scenic run allows participants the opportunity to run or walk alongside Lake Wingra and enjoy pleasant scenery while navigating through Edgewood’s campus.

All of the proceeds for this event will go directly to the National Project Sunshine Chapter allowing us to continue spreading the healing power of play in the local Madison area, nationally, and internationally. Project Sunshine is the leading volunteer-based organization delivering free, in-hospital, and virtual programs to pediatric patients and their families. We work with Child Life Specialists and other healthcare staff to create a space in the hospital environment for kids to socialize with each other and participate in fun activities that are both recreational and educational.
