About this race
The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine is excited to bring back the annual Hoof N Woof 5K race for the first time since 2019! The race will start at 9:30 am on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, right outside the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine building on the St. Paul campus. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate, and leashed pets are more than welcome! After the race, there will be beverages, snacks, and various awards for the runners and their furry companions.
Registration for the race is $25, and the first 100 people to register are guaranteed a t-shirt and goodie bag! Packet pick-up will start on Saturday at 8:45 am, with same-day registration also available.
This year’s Hoof N Woof benefits Minnesota Association for Pets in Crisis, an organization supporting pet owners who are experiencing abuse. MAPC provides temporary housing and care to pets belonging to victims of domestic violence while their owners get back on their feet. Their goal is to ultimately reunite pets with their families.
