We Care 5K Run & Walk

Join Lutheran Counseling Services for our annual We Care 5k and support residents of senior living facilities in need. Our Older Adult Program is 100% funded by donations and when you sign up for this year’s 5k, your contribution will help us provide services to seniors who are struggling with loneliness and a variety of other life transitions. Beginning at 8:00am at St. Stephen’s in Longwood, the We Care 5k will take you down parts of the Seminole Trail and loop back to the church. This event is perfect for participants of all ages and ability levels. Runners and walkers are welcomed and groups of family and friends are encouraged.

Who We Are:

Lutheran Counseling Services is a community-based mental health agency that provides counseling services in the Central Florida area. We provide evidence-based services to clients regardless of their financial standing or ability to pay. Each year our Older Adult Ministry provides free counseling services on-site to residents of senior living facilities. Our Older Adult Program is 100% funded by donations and supports the vulnerable senior community through a variety of life transitions. 

Registration Fees

• Early Bird Rate: $25 through January 31, 2023
• Standard Online Registration: $35 February 1, 2023-April 14, 2023
• Day of Sign Up: $40 April 15, 2023
• Teams of 5 Online sign up: $125 through April 15, 2023
