Join us for the first annual Run With The Wild 5k walk/run. Â

A family friendly, dog friendly, ADA accessible 5k run/walk! Â This 5k will be held in the beautifully scenic Columbia River Gorge, starting at the Mark O. Hatfield (West Entrance) Trailhead. Â Views of the Columbia River will be seen along this paved route. Â All proceeds will be donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Â We will also hold an event drawing - enter for your chance to win amazing prizes from local PNW businesses (details below!)
WHERE: Mark O. Hatfield trailhead (West Entrance) in Hood River, Oregon.
WHEN: April 15, 2023. Â Check-in opens at 08:00, race start time is 10:00.Â
WHY: Wildland firefighting is a tremendously hazardous job. Â Our firefighters are exposed to physical, mental and emotional challenges each and every day in the field while protecting us, our property, and our land. Â Proceeds from your participation are donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Â The mission of WFF is to support the families of firefighters who have perished or been injured in the line of duty -- their role during medical emergencies and fatality events cannot be understated.
