The Chastain Chase is a family-friendly run that winds through the beautiful and historic area of Chastain Park. This annual springtime event is designed for runners and non-runners alike, encouraging the highest level of community involvement. Participants can run the 5K course, or experience the 1 mile walking course. Families and strollers are welcome! Registration for Walk-Up participants opens at 7am and the 5K starts at 8am sharp. The 1-mile walk will begin upon completion of the 5K.
The Chastain Chase benefits Cancer Support Community Atlanta, a nonprofit organization affiliated with Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, dedicated to providing support services for people facing cancer. Funds raised will help provide support groups, stress reduction classes, nutrition programs and education forums to support people through a cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
