Brandon was an incredible father to three children, Noah, Naomi, and Nikko. He was heavily involved in his kids’ lives, from therapies for Noah who has autism and is non-verbal, Vlogging with Naomi, and encouraging Nikko to try everything. Brandon’s passion for fitness, family, and riding his motorcycle led him to become a personal trainer. His focus was on families like his to find balance. His goal was to help others create healthy lifestyles while managing multiple hours of therapy. He strived to show others how to maintain healthy relationships while working full time, keeping up with his siblings, and his hobbies like riding and lifting. Brandon was determined to master this in order to teach others.Â
This walk/run will be to honor and celebrate Brandon's life which was taken too soon when he was riding his motorcycle and hit by a car. On Sunday, April 16th we will meet to celebrate Brandon by being active by walking or running. The race will take place in Gilbert, AZ at Freestone park. Participants can choose to do one or two loops. Two loops will equal a 5k. Any proceeds from the event will be shared with the family and the Gye Di, a non-profit chosen by the family.Â
Gye Di is a non-profit organization that aims to change the world through play by creating an environment without limitations for children with and without disabilities to learn, grow, and play together. Gye Di was created to fulfill the vision of our BIG DREAM. Our BIG DREAM is to create an indoor recreation center for children with and without disabilities to play and explore together without the limitations that typical playgrounds and parks have. We strive to build a community that closes the gap on the stigma of what it means to have a disability.
