Light It Up Black & Blue: Autism Awareness 5K Light It Up Black & Blue: Autism Awareness 5K

This event is presented to you by Black FIRE, an organization made up of entrepreneurs and professionals in the finance, insurance and real estate industries. April is Autism Awareness Month. Then, and all other months of the year, we celebrate acceptance, inclusion and intervention - all of which are key components to giving a child with ASD the best possible chance of living up to their full potential.

Unfortunately, Black and Hispanic children do not receive intervention as early as their peers. We want to bridge that by raising funds for resources and through partnership with other organizations who seek to eliminate these disparities. Join us at the corner of Cordelia Park in the NoDa area in Charlotte, NC on Sunday, April 16, 2023 for a walk/run 5K. This is a family friendly event for the community, with a KidZone for children ages 2-10 years, vendors and a raffle.
