About this race
This year we celebrate the 10th Annual Geared to Hear 5k!!! The Geared to Hear race is a 5k (3.1 mile) run/walk through Towpath Trail at Big Bend Trailhead in Akron, Ohio that will take place on April 16th, 2023. Proceeds from the Geared to Hear race will benefit the "NOAC gEARed to Hear", a fund created by the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium (NOAC) chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology. This fund was created for the purpose of providing hearing aids and hearing health services for area adults in need as identified by our local Quota International club.
Race check-in will begin at 10:00 am followed by race start at 11:00 am.
