About this race
The Josh Waldrep Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) started to honor Josh and raise awareness about the condition Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, (CVS). The Foundation is proud to sponsor scholarships to the University of West Georgia, Carrollton High School, and donations towards finding a cure for CVS.
The Live Like Josh 5K kicks off its inaugural event on April 20, 2023 with a 5K hosted on the University of West Georgia Athletic complex. Join us at 6:15pm at the Stadium Concourse to hear memories of Josh and know more about CVS. We will start the 5K from the Athletic Operations Building parking lot at 6:30pm. The 5K will travel around the Athletic complex and showcase the stadium, the wolf statue and several other athletic fields.Â
Sign up as an individual or get a group to sign up as a team to win a team prize for the most participants in a team. All abilities are welcome. Stay after the 5K to enjoy pizza with friends at the Stadium Concourse!

Race medals will be awarded to overall male and female, 9 and under male and female, 10-19 male and female, 20-29 male and female, 30-39 male and female, 40-49 male and female, 50-59 male and female, 60-69 male and female, 70+ male and female.
