About this race
The Graduate Engineering Association (GEA) at the University of Kansas is hosting GEAK5, a VIRTUAL fun run/walk through the Nike Run Club App (or an equivalent app) to promote better physical and mental health through running. GEAK5 is an event that will showcase our students, faculty, staff. All proceeds from this event will go towards advancing GEA programming which includes professional development events and travel awards for graduate students. As a result, GEAK5 will help KU show the world its high caliber students and research. Â
Race Starts Friday (April 21st) and will go until Sunday (April 23rd). Please email us a screenshot of your time to run/walk the 5K and send us a picture of yourself to [email protected] in your GEAK5 gear!! Winners will be announced April 24th, 2022 by 12:00 pm. Prizes will be given for first, second, and third place.
Students: $15
Non-Students: $25

Prices will increase after March 10th. Students pricing ($20) to all current students.
Shirts are guaranteed to those who register prior to March 9th. Sign-up during packet pick-up or on race day after midnight Wednesday, April 25th.Â
