Phelps Luck 5k and 1-mile Fun Run One Mile Fun Run

This is our 8th annual Phelps Luck 5K and 1-mile Fun Run sponsored by the Phelps Luck PTA. 

The morning will begin at 9:00 am with an energetic warm-up session led by KidStrong Columbia. All race entrants for both the 5k and 1-mile Fun Run will be entered in a raffle to win a full week of summer camp at KidStrong Columbia.

Afterwards the 5k run will begin on Long Reach High School’s cross-country course.  The 1-mile run/walk will follow the 5K start and new this year will be a short loop on the cross-country course.  Sign up today and come out to support your Phelps Luck PTA.

Race Day is Saturday, May 11th, 2024 starting and finishing at Long Reach High School, 6101 Old Dobbin Ln. Columbia, MD 21045. Rain or Shine.

All children under the age of 18 MUST register AND be accompanied by an adult.

• Please arrive early, as parking may be limited due to other events at the high school.  Carpooling, walking, and biking to the event is recommended.
• Packet pickup at Road Runner Sports Columbia on Friday, May 10th between 4-7 PM. Address: 6630-C Marie Curie Dr, Elkridge, MD 21075

• What to remember: Hydrate, wear sunscreen, dress appropriately including running shoes, have fun!
• What NOT to bring: skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, animals, and headphones.
• Strollers not permitted on the cross-country course.
• Light refreshments will be available to participants at the finish line.
