The SEA PINES DOLPHIN DASH 5K is a 5 kilometer run/walk taking place in beautiful Sea Pines Resort - Hilton Head Island, SC. We hope to provide you with a memorable run / walk experience that starts you on a wonderful Hilton Head day. We utilize our beautiful hard flat beach for the race course - the perfect running experience on Hilton Head Island!

REGISTRATION

Registration is online only - cut-off for registration is race day at 7:30am - FAST Registration on your Phone! We have streamlined registration via your mobile phone - click Sign Up (above) - register - and your bib will be waiting for you at packet pickup. Its simple and fast!

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

 

PRE-RACE

PACKET PICK UP

1. Tuesday & Wednesday : Participants may pick up their packets on Tuesday & Wednesday of race week at The Sea Pines Resort Fitness Center (MAP) - from 1pm - 3pm.
   
2. Thursday (Race Day) : Participants pick up their race packet at the race site - Sea Pines Beach Club (MAP) on race morning 7am - 7:45am. 

Please bring your confirmation email (hardcopy or smartphone) to Pick Up.
- Yes, you may pick up for more than one person - actually, this is recommended and appreciated.
- Yes, you may purchase additional race T-shirts at packet-pickup.

RESULTS

Preliminary results will be emailed to you 20 seconds after your finish - and will contain a link to the overall preliminary results.
Final results will be emailed shortly after the completion of the race.

We are pleased to be benefiting the Turtle Trackers - whose mission is to assist with the preservation efforts for endangered sea turtles nesting on Hilton Head Island, and to educate the public for the protection of our sea turtle hatchlings heading to the ocean. Every paid registered participant receives a custom race T-shirt (a really cool one too!) and a custom race bib.

 

RIDE YOUR BIKE

We encourage everyone to ride your bike or walk to the race site - due to the limited vehicle parking at the Sea Pines Beach Club. There are lots of bike racks available - and, it is a great warm up for the run.

 

PARKING

Bike parking, vehicle parking, handicap parking, and runner drop-off is available at the Beach Club lot.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN

Safety for our participants, volunteers, and staff is our number one concern. Any decision we make regarding the production or cancellation of the event will be made with safety in mind. If mother nature does not cooperate on race morning - we will delay the event until the conditions are safe - this delay will continue for a reasonable amount of time until we deem it necessary to c
