This series has a rich history of providing accessible and competitive cross country races within the scenic, yet challenging, Van Cortlandt Park. Participants can anticipate a classic cross country experience, often featuring a mix of open grassy fields, wooded trails, and potentially some moderate inclines and declines that are characteristic of this historic park. This particular 5k race is the fifth installment of their summer series, indicating a consistent offering of this distance throughout the warmer months.
