Thursday, 27 June 2024· 19:00· College Station, TX, 77845, US
About this race
The kids run will start at 6:45pm before the 5k. This is so we can make sure and keep an eye on all the kids as they run the course.
Join us at the beautiful Millican Reserve for a summer of 5k races. We will host 6 races over this summer on Thursday nights at 7PM. At the end of the summer we will count your 4 best finishes towards an awards party. At the party we will hand out awards for overall points, age group, most consistent and most improved.
Each week you run is a $10 fee. This will include your chip timing and a finisher medal but that is it.
If you preregister for all 6 races you will receive $10 off. (This saves you on fees also)

Points will be calculated on your time that week.
Age groups will be calculated on your age as of the first race.
Age groups will be every 10 years.
We will have packet pickup starting at 5:50pm - 6:50pm on race day each race.
The start is about .4 miles from the parking area and will be marked with signs. You will receive a bib with chip that can be reused at each race. In the interest of the environment and our sustainability we would appreciate you using the same bib each race.
I look forward to seeing you out there!
What to expect
Written from race dataThe Millican Summer Series Week 3, taking place on June 27, 2024, in College Station, TX, is the third installment of a popular local running event series. While specific historical details for this individual week are limited, the series itself is designed to offer a recurring opportunity for runners to test themselves in a consistent, community-focused environment throughout the summer. Participants can anticipate a well-organized race with a friendly atmosphere, typical of established local running event series. Expect a course primarily consisting of the well-trodden trails around Lake Atlas at the Millican Recreation Area. The terrain is generally a mix of packed dirt, gravel, and some potentially sandy or root-covered sections, offering a moderate challenge suitable for various skill levels. Given the June date, runners should prepare for warm and humid Texas summer conditions, emphasizing the importance of hydration and sun protection. Notable features often include the picturesque lakeside views and the camaraderie of fellow runners participating in this recurring summer tradition.
