Get ready to break a Sweat for Nick! Join us for the Sweat It Out 5k 2024!  We are offering two exciting options: a thrilling "Live Race" on Saturday, June 1, 2024, or the flexibility of a "Virtual Event" from May 13 to June 1, 2024. Don't forget the little ones – our Kids Fun Run is back, giving children a chance to "Sweat For Nick" too!  The Duke family, mindful of safety, invites you to support NFED and Sweat For Nick in a way that suits you best.

Start a team with a minimum of 4 members during registration and enjoy a special discount. For the Live Race, compete for the coveted Largest Team Award!

For the Live Event on June 1st, experience the thrill of walking or running on our USA Track and Field Certified course, winding through Nick's neighborhood and finishing where you began at Old Woodlands Park. Volunteers will guide and cheer you on, with a water stop at the 1.5 mile mark. Stick around after the race for a Finish Line Celebration with food and beverages exclusively for registered participants.

Gear up for the event at Packet Pick Up from 4 – 7 pm on Friday, May 30, at Hunter-Gatherer Hangar Brewery. Participants (21 and older) get a FREE BEER by showing their race bib during Packet Pick Up or on Race Day. Cheers to Hunter-Gatherer for their support! Join the movement, break a sweat, and make a difference – it's time to Sweat For Nick!

 

START A TEAM!  During registration, you will be asked if you would like to "Join A Team".  You must have a minimum of 5 members to start a team.  Teams get a special discount!  Grab four or more friends and Sweat for Nick together!  This is an option for the Live Race and the Virtual Event!

 

** Must register by April 25, 2024 to be guaranteed a shirt!  We are not able to hold shirts for participants who do not pick up at packet pick up or on race day.  To get your shirt, you must pick up during these times. We are unable to ship or to hold shirts for pick up after the race.

 

RACE DAY:
We will have Race Day Packet Pick Up or Race Day Registration. We will open our Race Day Registration table and our Packet Pick Up table at the race at 6:15am.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before our start time at 7am.  

Dogs on a leash are welcome!  Strollers are welcome!

 

POST-RACE

Great food and water will be available at the finish line for registered participants only.

 

AWARDS

Our awards ceremony will be held around 8:30am.  Awards for overall and age group winners will be announced at the ceremony.  Awards will be placed on a table for you to pick up during the ceremony.  Please be sure to pose for our photographer after you receive your award!

All awards must be picked up during the award ceremony.  We do allow your friends to pick up awards for you if you are not able to attend.  We are unable to ship awards after the race!  We appreciate your understanding.

Awards will be given to the TOP THREE Male/Female Winners, the TOP THREE Male/Female Masters Winners, and Age Group Winners (every 5 years)

We will also be raffling off great prizes during our awards ceremony!  Only registered participants are eligible for these awards.

VIRTUAL RACE OPTION
Runners and Walkers can  "Sweat Anywhere " from May 13 - June 1,  2024. All participants in our virtual event will receive an awesome Sweat It Out 5k race shirt and custom Sweat It Out  award!  These will be mailed to you after the event ends.  Registration for the virtual event will close on May 26.
You will have the option to report your results through our results tab on
