About this race

Lincoln's Legacy of Giving 5K/10K is back at Centennial Park!  This is where it all started back when this event was called the SOHO 10K.  We've been all over the place trying to find a home and so we are back where we started.  This time instead busing everyone to Stuart Park you simply run out and back on the trail.  If necessary we'll do a wave start to keep the trail from getting too crowded.

The 5K and 10K are both an out and back on the Sangamon Valley Trail.

Start and Finish in the field just south of the Centennial Park Hill.

Packet pickup is the morning of the event starting at 7am at the trailhead of SVT on the southside of the Centennial Park Hill.

Your registration includes:

  • Entry to one day of the Legacy of Giving Music Festival on June 7 or 8th

  • Two complimentary drink tickets at the music festival

  • A cool race shirt

  • A LOG finisher medal

Awards for overall winners male and female plus age bracket awards in 10 year brackets.

Proceeds of this event go into the charity pool for the Legacy of Giving Music Festival.
