For the 12th year, McKnight Village is proud to host Run for the Rec, a 5k race through our neighborhood to support the upkeep and revitalization of our community-owned park!

**Early bird registration ($17 adult/$12 child) closes April 30th, 2024**

The race starts at 9am on Sunday, June 2nd at the McKnight Village Rec. Parking is available in the rec.

Race packets can be picked up at the Rec on Friday 5/31/24 (5-7pm) or Saturday 6/1/23 (10am-noon). If you are not able to pick your bib, shirt, and bag before race day, you can also pick it up the morning of the event. However, we strongly encourage you to pick-up on Friday or Saturday. 

Participate for fun or to compete. 56 medals will be awarded across a variety of age groups and categories. Strollers and families are welcome. There will be a 5k timed division, an untimed walk, and a timed rucking division. Rucking is split into two categories: people weighing <150lbs carrying 20lbs or more, and people weighing >150lbs carrying 30lbs or more. 

Stick around after the race for raffles, refreshments, and live music!
