The Lilac Festival 5k run/walk is a great event for all. Nice flat course for speedsters or walkers. The only race in America where every finisher gets a lilac seedling!
The Lilac Festival is a chance for families to come out and do something fun, as a hometown, family-friendly event. The fun begins on Friday May 31 and continues all weekend. Saturday the festival gets into full swing with the parade at 11 a.m. Other events on Saturday include a car show, and a great juggling act. The vendor and craft show will be available Friday through Sunday. Join us on Sunday as the festival wraps up with the 5k run/walk! The run/walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.
