29th Annual Run for the Roses 5k

We are proud to announce the race has been selected for the 2024 CARA Chicago Racing Circuit!

Run for the Roses features a fast and flat course along closed neighborhood streets in Roselle. With a wide 30 foot starting line & free parking feet away from the start and finish line, this race is fun, fast, and conventient. Indoor and outdoor bathrooms are on site. Post-race refreshments are provided, along with a balloon artist for 2024, and as usual the .6k kids' race on the LPHS track after the 5k.

Packet Pickup will be from 2-6pm on Friday, May 31st, and from 12-4pm on Saturday, June 1st at:

  • Xtra Mile Running, 31 W Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194 (SW corner of Schaumburg & Roselle Roads)

Race starts at 8am on Sunday, June 1st. Raceday registration is available on site at Lake Park West High School until 7:45am:

Proceeds after expenses will go to support the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin.
