Awards:

•    Trophies for top overall male & female finishers.  
•    Medals for the top 3 finishers in the following age groups for male and female: 7-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,70-99

About Us

Mending the Gap is transforming the aging experience for hundreds of low-income and vulnerable seniors. Providing supplementary supplies and food, companionship and other support services for low-income seniors, helping them to remain healthy, independent and connected. Mending the gap also aids with the development of positive intergenerational relationships by creating opportunities that enable young people and senior citizens to connect and engage. Mending the gap serves 600+ seniors in the Metro Atlanta each week.  All proceeds from this race will go to further our goal of extending our reach to other seniors in need. Together we can ensure older adults have access to the basic daily needs to stay healthy and remain in their homes longer.
