The 15th Annual Eggleston OK5K & 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll is a truly special race. Join us for a race through the beautiful campus of Virginia Wesleyan University, and have the opportunity to make a difference in our community! The OK5K & 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll is an exciting morning that is open to participants of all ability levels, families with strollers, wheelchair racers, and more. You might even see some amazing Eggleston employees and associates out on the course!

Since 1955, Eggleston has been dedicated to providing meaningful training, employment opportunities, recreation activities, and residential services to thousands of adults with disabilities. The OK5K is Eggleston’s primary fundraising event, and all proceeds directly support our mission.

Proceeds from the OK5K event help to offset the cost of Eggleston’s year-round services to adults with disabilities, including our Brain Injury Services, Warrior Bridge Veteran program, and our Day Support Programs.   Eggleston’s Brain Injury Services provides both case management services and a clubhouse model program that focuses on helping members reach their personal goals.  Eggleston’s Warrior Bridge assists veterans with disabilities by connecting them to vital resources, services and employment. Finally, Eggleston’s Day Support Programs offers individuals with significant disabilities meaningful and functional year-round/daily supports based on improving quality of life and enhancing independence.
