Hatfield McCoy Marathon
The Hatfield and McCoy Races Blackberry Mountain Half Marathon, taking place on June 8, 2024, in South Williamson, KY, is an annual event steeped in the rich, rugged history of the legendary Hatfield-McCoy feud. This half marathon is part of a larger racing series that pays homage to the storied Appalachian region, offering participants a challenging and scenic experience. Runners should anticipate a demanding course that winds through the heart of coal country, embracing the area's unique heritage and natural beauty. Participants can expect a challenging yet rewarding terrain typical of the Appalachian Mountains. The course is characterized by significant elevation changes, featuring steep climbs and descents that will test even seasoned runners.
