Kohler Classic - June 8, 2024 Kohler Classic - 1 Mile - Run & Walk - 14 & Up

Come join the fun and support a great cause! We will have a DJ, Concessions, Brat Fry starting at 10:30am, Bouncy House Obstacle Course for the kids and more.

The purpose of Kohler Classic is to bring families, fun and fitness together in our community. Our goal is to raise funds and promote healthier lifestyles for our children. The event is sponsored by Kohler Athletic Bomber Boosters. Proceeds benefit the Kohler Athletic Bomber Booster Club, Inc. (501(c)3 which is dedicated to supporting all Kohler Athletic Programs. We proudly support 19 teams at Kohler High School. Three of the teams (football, baseball and swim/dive) are co-op which includes students from Sheboygan Lutheran, Sheboygan Christian and Sheboygan Falls. The money raised by the Booster Club is used to provide money for big ticket items along with making contributions to the individual teams. This year we have committed to donating $14,000.00 to our High School teams. The individual teams use that money to purchase anything from (but not limited to) warm up gear, overnight trips, team dinners, miscellaneous equipment, etc. Beginning this year, we will also be offering four $500.00 education scholarships to our graduation student-athletes. 

Event: Race time will start at 9:00am with the 1 Mile and 5K races at the same time. The runners will wind through the beautiful historic and residential neighborhoods of Kohler. Enjoy a relatively flat course with a few mild slopes in between. All races will begin and end at Ebben Field (across the street from Kohler School - 333 Upper Road). There will also be a 100 Meter Dash for all kids 4 and under which will follow around 10:00am at Ebben Field.

Registation Fees:
100 Meter Dash - 4 and under $15.00
1 Mile Run/Walk - 13 & under $20/14 & older $25
5K Run/Walk - 13 & under $20/14 & older $25

Age Divisions and Medals:
All participants will receive a goodie bag as well as a free race t-shirt. The race t-shirts are guaranteed only to those who signup prior to the deadline for t-shirts: May 15, 2024. 

100 Meter Dash (4 & under) all participants will receive a medal.
1 Mile Medals will be given to the top male and female finishers in their age groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14.

5K Medals will be presented after the race to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups:
    • 14-Under
    • 15-19
    • 20-29
    • 30-39
    • 40-49
    • 50-59
    • 60-69
    • 70+

In addition, the top overall 5K male and female will receive a medal and prize. 

Race Information:
- For safety reasons, dogs, bikes, rollerblades, skates or scooters are NOT allowed.
- Kids and strollers are welcome. Runners pushing joggers please start in the back of the pack.
- Young children riding in strollers DO NOT need to be registered.
