What to expect

Written from race data

The 6th Annual Paddle Run 4 CureHHT, scheduled for June 8, 2024, in Gibraltar, Michigan, offers a unique multi-sport challenge for participants. This event, hosted at Captain Jim’s Kayak/SUP AND Run, combines paddling and running for a good cause, supporting research and awareness for Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). Runners can anticipate a scenic course that likely traverses varied terrain, typical of a Michigan location, potentially including paved paths, trails, and possibly some unpaved sections. The "Event Type: 6" designation is unclear without further context, but it could refer to a specific distance category or a unique race format. Participants should prepare for an engaging experience that tests both their aquatic and terrestrial endurance. The "Paddle Run" format implies distinct paddling and running segments, possibly connected by transitions. Given the location, the paddling portion is expected to take place on local waterways, offering opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of the Gibraltar area. Conditions can vary, so checking weather forecasts closer to the date is advisable. This race is notable for its charitable mission, making it an excellent opportunity to engage in physical activity while contributing to a meaningful cause.
