AI Overview

The Big Run 5K - A Global Running Day Celebration, presented by Michelob Ultra and Brooks, is a nationwide event happening on June 9, 2024, with a local stop in Denver, CO (80204). This race is part of a larger initiative to celebrate Global Running Day and foster a sense of community among runners. While specific historical details for the Denver location aren't provided, The Big Run generally aims to be an accessible and celebratory 5K experience for runners of all levels. Participants can expect a fun and energetic atmosphere, likely featuring music, post-race refreshments (with Michelob Ultra potentially offering samples), and a chance to connect with fellow running enthusiasts. The Denver course is anticipated to be a relatively flat and fast 5K, typical for urban 5K events designed for broad participation. Given it's an outdoor event in early June, runners should prepare for potentially warm weather conditions, so hydration and sun protection are advised. The terrain is likely to be on paved surfaces, such as city streets or park paths, making it suitable for both casual joggers and those aiming for personal bests. The key feature of this race is its connection to Global Running Day, making it more than just a competition, but a nationwide celebration of the sport.
