Celebrate the 42nd Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!

The Strawberry Festival Rock and Run 5K is Thursday night, June 13, 2024 at the Hickories Park in Owego.

4:30 - Same day registration opens.

5:15 - Kid's Fun Run - all kid, 12 and under,  must register with a parent.

6:00 - 5K Race starts. Cool 2024 Strawberry Festival Race medal for every 5K participant.

 Kid's Fun Run Race starts at 5:15 - Ages 12 and under. Runners must register and have a parent sign for them to enter the race, so come early. Fun Run racers will receive a numbered bib and a medal!

Day of the race: Coming into the Hickories Park, please remember to drive slowly!

There will be a lot of people parking and gathering around the band stand area. Kids may be running their Fun Run. There will be orange cones and volunteers to highlight the race, and help with safety. Please DRIVE SLOWLY entering the park.

Music and festivities start at 5:00.

Following the 5K Race, join us for more free music and fun at the Hickories bandstand. Live music, vendors and ice cream and food trucks until 9:00!

Friday night, June 14 - starting at 5:00 pm, music, vendors, food and fireworks in the Village.

Saturday, June 15 - in the Village, the Strawberry Festival Parade starts at 10:00, vendors, food, entertainment all day!
