It's a Juneteenth Celebration!

Join the Lansing Juneteenth Celebration Committee and "Run Tha City 517" presents the second annual Lansing, Michigan Juneteenth 5k run/walk/roll!

Register today to run/walk or roll (strollers and wheel chairs) the race will start at J.W. Sexton High school and take you through the scenic route of Westside Neighborhood. You can create a team with friends, coworkers or family and complete 3.1 mile route together as a community.

Location: The start line will be in the football stadium parking lot of J.W. Sexton High School and the 5k will finish on J.W. Sexton track.

Pricing & T-shirt guarantee dates: $30 until March 31st (t-shirt guaranteed) 
$35 from April 1st until June 5th (t-shirt guaranteed)
$40 June 6th to June 14th (t-shirt not guaranteed) 
$45 on race day (no shirt)

Start Time: 8:30 am

Packet pick up:  Packet pickup will be June 14th 4:00 pm-8:00 pm Saint Joseph Park 2125 W .Hillsdale St. Lansing, MI 48915 and race day June 15th starting at 7:00 am on J.W. Sexton track until start time of the 5k. During your packet pickup you will receive your race t-shirt and your bib number.

Course: The 5k course will take you through the scenic Westside Neighborhood.

Proceeds from the race go to support the annual Juneteenth Celebration Organization continue to provide safe and fun ways to celebrate Juneteenth weekend and to support this 5k every year.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live and posted on this website following the event.
