About this race
Join us for a celebration of inclusivity as we color the streets of downtown New Castle! This family-friendly event offers music, games, art vendors & activities, food trucks and more! Learn a little about LGBTQ+ history and explore community resources for support and advocacy.
You do not need to run to participate! One block ‘young run’ at 5:30 pm. All age fun run at 6 pm (registration required). Bring a t-shirt for tie dye and wear your most colorful outfit! Open to all!
Race Fees
Early Bird: $20 by 5/11.
Standard: $30 by 6/1.
Last Minute: $40 thru 6/15.
All runners receive a t-shirt, bib & finisher medal! Ages 12 & under run for free with paid adult. (No t-shirt)
Schedule of Events
4pm Let the pre-race party begin! Check in for the race or simply enjoy the music, food and activities! All runners must be registered to race.
5:00pm Costumed Character Run Five inflatable personalities will compete in a hilarious one block sprint! Vote and if your character wins, you’re eligible for a prize!
5:30pm Young Run Ages 8 and under have their own one block sprint for prizes! Free!
6:00pm Color Run begins!

Location
The Hoyt Color Fun & Run is held at the at Riverwalk Park on East Washington Street in Downtown New Castle, PA. The race course takes runners through the streets of town and along the Neshannock Creek's tree-lined Riverwalk Trail.
