The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (CAC) is excited to host our annual Champions for Children 5K with a new 10K option this year! Join us on June 15, 2024, at our Hoffman Estates location for a day filled with excitement, community spirit, and superhero-themed fun! Dress as your favorite superhero and be a Champion for Children as we race to raise funds to empower children and inspire hope!
CAC's mission is to serve as the leading community resource to empower and heal children and families who have experienced abuse and to prevent violence against children. From the Forensic Interview to the last therapy session, CAC provides comprehensive services to ensure children build resiliency and live healthier lives. Last year, CAC provided services to over 1,798 children and families in Chicago's north and northwest suburbs.
Your participation and support help to ensure we can continue providing these services free of charge. Be a Champion for Children and register today as an individual or team, or simply donate to the cause!
For our youngest superheroes, we are offering a kid-friendly 50-yard dash, ensuring children of all ages can participate in the day's activities! The start time for the 50-yard dash is 7:30 am.
Reserved Team Areas are available for $100! Team areas include tables, chairs, snacks, water, and Gatorades set up for you and your group ahead of time! You can add your Team Area set up as an add-on at the end of registration!
5K and 10K registration includes an event t-shirt and custom finisher medal. Register by May 23rd to guarantee a shirt, size, and medal!
