The Summer Sizzle presented by Utica First Insurance The Summer Sizzle Road Race

The Sizzle is back and it is hotter than ever!  One of our classic races that returns to Proctor Park and our friends at the Masonic Care Community!  The Utica First Summer Sizzle enters its 36th year.  Come celebrate Father's Day on June 18th as the Summer Sizzle Five Mile Road Race is proud to be a part of the UR Four Pack!

We will be following all city. state, and federal guidelines to hold a safe race for all our participants.  We will also be offering a Virtual an option for runners who would prefer to do the 5 mile distance on their own.  There will be no refunds or deferrals into 2025.  

The Summer Sizzle has a long-standing tradition of being a family event.  To celebrate Father's Day we will have multiple divisions for families to compete in for special awards and prizes.

What do you get?  A hot Summer Sizzle shirt with a new fire design from our friends at USA Racing!  You also get a Summer Sizzle headband to soak up the sweat!

Divisions include:

Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Mother/Daughter, and a Division for all Couples.

The Half Mile Kids Run begins at 8:30 am and the Five Mile Summer Sizzle begins at 9 am!

Packet pick-up will be:

Friday, June 14th at the Masonic Care Community from 3-6 pm

Sunday, June 16th at TR Proctor Park from 7:30 am to 8:45 am.
