 The Tidewater Striders Present the Inaugural Jubilee Run to Celebrate Juneteenth! 

 

Join us for the Jubilee 5K & the Jubilee 1 Miler as we celebrate

Freedom & Equality with a Fun Family event on the Boardwalk.

 

COURSE: This is a 1 mile and 5k out-and-back course on the boardwalk starting at 24th street with the turnaround point at 17th street for the mile and 2nd street for the 5k.  Both races finish back at 24th Street.

 

FLUIDS AND FOOD: There will be 1 aid station with water at the 5k turnaround point.

 

AMENITIES & POST-RACE: All 5k & 1 Mile registered runners will receive a Premium T-Shirt & All finishers will receive Medals. Onsite hospitality & refreshments including Pizza, Snacks, and Cold Beverages

 

PACKET PICKUPS: Early Packet Pickup will be at the  Virginia Beach Running Etc. store (1940 Laskin Rd) Saturday, June 15th, 3 pm-5 pm

Race Day Packet Pickup will be from 7-7:50 am for 5K & 7-9 am for the mile on Race Day at the 24th Street Park Stage.

 

RACE TIMES: The 5k race starts at 8 AM and the 1 mile starts at approx 9:15 am

 

AWARDS:  5K Race: Top 3 OVERALL Male and Female,  and Top 3 Male and Female in age groups (12 & Under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70+ will receive awards! Top 3 Walkers Male and Female will also receive awards.

1 Mile: The top 3 OVERAL Males and Females and the top 3 Males and Females in age groups (6 & Under, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, and 13 & Over) will receive awards.

 

REGISTRATION: Registration will be open until 7:30 a.m. on Race Day.

 

STRIDER PLUS/LEGACY RUNNERS: Discount automatically applied at checkout through Race Day.

 

CLUB MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available up through Race Day. Discounts are automatically applied on the payment page during registration. You should use the account you used to register for the club to apply for this discount. We will also attempt to match on name/date of birth.

Paper entry forms are not available.
