The Rundown 5k Run

The RunDown 5k                    

This year's race is being held on Friday June 21, 2024 (Summer Solstice).

Don’t you hate it when you are doing a race and someone is on your tail during the entire race only to pass you in the finisher chute?

Well then the Rundown 5k (the Frostbite 5k course) is for you.  Race Starts and Ends in the parking lot of Aviation Park.

Will be putting 1:00:00 on the clock and the countdown STARTS at 7:00 PM. 

Since it will be facing the parking lot you will leave when you think you will be back at the finish at 0:00:00.

Race is OVER at 8:00 PM when the clock runs down to 0:00:00.

NO personal timing devices; watches, smart phones, etc. will be allowed.  If found, they will be locked up in the kitchen and you will have to show your bib to get it back.

Most races start out in a crowd, but being run backwards, the bottle neck will be in the finisher chute.  With not being able to see the clock do you try to pass that person in front of you or do you let the person behind you go ahead?

SWAG is a club logo'd solo cup.....Current paid club members - $5.00 and Non-paid club members - $10.00

Packet Pickup will be held at Aviation Park (site of the Frostbite 5k – Veteran's Drive, KDH across from the First Flight High School) from 5:00 PM till 6:45 PM on the day of the race, No earlier packet pickup available.

Light refreshments after the event.  Alcohol is not permitted in Aviation Park.
