Great 5k and Paddlefest 5k ONLY

The Arc Caddo-Bossier’s GREAT Program offers equine assisted services to children, teens and adults with disabilities. Through certified instructors and trained volunteers, our program positively affects the physical, psychological and social well being of our students. GREAT offers diverse programs to local schools and hospitals as well as private lessons and summer camp programs.

5k - 8:00 a.m.

Paddlefest - 9:00 a.m.

 

Entry Fees:

5K and Paddlefest Entry Fee (includes 1 ticket to The GREAT Post Race Party): Early Registration is $50 until June 7th, $55 June 8th-21st, $60 race day

**Paddlefest portion will be a 2 mile paddle.

***Lifejackets required for the paddlefest***

 

Paddlefest will be at Fox Creek Farms

 

Bring your own paddleboard, kayak or canoe for the paddlefest.  If you are interested in renting one ($20), please call Caroline Hendrix at 318-564-5769

 

Packet Pick-up: at Sportspectrum ~

Thursday, June 20  from 12:00-6:00 pm

Friday, June 21 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm.

Race day pick up will be from 7:00-7:45 am at the race site

 

Awards:

Will be given to 1st overall 5K finishers male and female and in each of the following age groups: 18 & under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

1st overall Paddlesfest finishers male and female paddleboard, kayak, and canoe, 1st overall 2 person kayak, 1st overall 2 person canoe

 

 

The GREAT Post Race Party: Join us for a post race celebration at Fox Creek Farms. $15 gets you into the party where you can sample delicious food provided by Sample Farms and cooked by Ki’ Mexico.  There will be live music, drawings, door prizes and lots of fun for the kids!
