About this race
The race begins at 8:00 am with the course that winds past historical African American landmarks in Madison and ends at Gaines Park.
Early packet pickup and late sign up will be on Friday, June 21 THE MADISON VISITOR’S CENTER from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
Packet pickup and sign up on race day, Saturday, June 22, will be on Broadway at the Garage entryway. Registration opens at 6:30 am and ends at 7:30 am. There will be a free Children’s fun run at 9:30 am.
All participants will receive a commemorative Juneteenth Medal. Awards will be given only to the 1st place Overall Male and Female Runner and the 1st place Overall Male and Female Walker.
