3rd Annual 910; Brett J Morris Avenger Foundation PTSD and Mental Health Awareness 5K 5K Run/Walk

Join us for the 3rd Annual Brett J Morris Avenger Foundation PTSD and Mental Health Awareness 5K Run/Walk/Ruck and Virtual Run/Walk/Ruck.  The newest studies suggest that we lose on average 44 soldiers a day to suicide. We are offering our Ruck option again this year to honor the 44 soldiers we lose daily to their internal battles.  Please be sure to check the requirements for Ruck. 

Our organization was started in memory of 20 year Army Veteran, Brett J Morris. Brett served 8 combat tours as 3/160th Night Stalker and a combined 20yrs of service as a US Army Reservist.  Brett lost his battle of PTSD, chronic pain and depression by suicide on Sept. 10, 2021.  Our mission is to AVENGE the Battle Within. Our goal is to spread awareness and hope for those suffering with PTSD, as well as, raise awareness and AVENGE the stigma that surrounds mental illness. Our proceeds go back to families in our military, 1st responders and athletic communities who are struck by loss, tragedy or hardships. In addition, we offer multiple athlete scholarships to our local schools, as well as, invest in social and community events to educate, bring hope and show God's love through all those who are affected by mental illness.
