The Cheeseletes are so excited for our ninth annual 5k!   Here we go Buffalo, NY!  This year, we are doing a completely virtual 5k to accommodate anyone and everyone in the cheese community.  But wait, are we still doing a 5k at ACS?  Stay tuned for a group run details and our party on Saturday morning!  The virtual race will be held July 1-14th and competition is on your terms.  On Saturday morning, we will celebrate everyone's wins, announce prize winners and have some fun items to raffle off. 

As with all of our events, funds raised will go to cheese education and enrichment.  Our ninth annual 5k will donate 75% of monies towards our Back in the Vat Grant and 25% towards the American Cheese Education Foundation.  Our Back in the Vat Grant allows American cheese professionals to participate in an all-expenses paid in-person educational experience, up to $2000 each, with Uplands Cheese and Cheese Camp at Jasper Hill Farm.  Click this link to find out more and how you can apply in 2025.  The more money we raise, the more in-person opportunities we can sponsor for the growing cheese community!  

As always, we will have contests like best kaastume and team spirit, and will be dishing out prizes as well as a raffle on Saturday.
