Welcome to the 32nd Easley FireCracker Frolic 5k presented once again by the Easley Lions Club!

The Easley Lions Club has been serving the Easley Community for over 84 years! One of our missions was given to the Lions in 1924 by Helen Keller who ask the Lions to serve the blind. We pay for eye exams and glasses for those in the Easley Community who are unable to do so. All monies raised by the Firecracker Frolic go to this fund after expenses of the race. Many of our clients have by children and the elderly. 

The Firecracker Frolic is a RED, White and Blue Family Fun Event! Yes we do give out unusual prizes and have drawings for more unusual gifts.

The race is run on the friendly streets of Easley SC. Yes, there are a few hills, but they are not daunting and there is also the down slope! We have Lions to point the way at intersections and monitor the race. Wear your RED WHITE AND BLUE...You can run you and walk!!!

Note that the course is not a closed course there could be cars on the roads but our early start, 7:30 AM usually mitigates that.  

After the race we give out awards to the top 3 women and men. The age groups are the standards you find in most 5k events. 

The race will be run on a rainy day, but we will hold the start in the event of thunderstorms.

The Easley Fircrackerfrolic 5k is held in Easley SC. The race has been run for since 1992 and the Easley Lions Club took over presenting this event 10 years ago. The Easley Lions Club uses the funds raised from this event, minus expenses, to further the Easley Lions Clubs Sight Conservation projects in Easley SC. The monies raised are used in the greater Easley Community to buy glasses for those who are not able to afford them. The club has routinely spent between $2,000 and $4,000 for exams and glasses.

The Club wants this event to be a Family Fun event. We encourage wearing Red, White and Blue and running with or strolling with our US Flag! The race is started with a firecracker!
