Cabo Verdean 5K Mission Statement

The Cabo Verdean 5K was founded to support, uplift, and provide resources to individuals with breast cancer, their caregivers, families, and communities across Cabo Verde Islands.

Our goal is to provide medical assistance, donations, equipment and increase awareness, reduce stigma associated with breast cancer; through education, promoting healthy living, early detection, and annual screening.

Our vision is to close the gap in breast cancer care In Cabo Verde Island and open facilities in each Island for breast cancer treatment.

Saturday, July 6, 2024: Marathon Sports, Level 1, Providence Place, 1 Providence place RI 02903.
12 noon to 4:00 p.m.

Entry fees for Saturday: $38.

Sunday, Race Day, July 7, 2024, 7:45 a.m. to start of 5k race at 9:00 am.
The 1 mile walk will start at 8:30am
