Summer Runs for Others are 1 Mile, 5k and 10K family events. They are untimed, fun runs or walks. Wheelchairs, recumbent bikes and strollers are all welcome. Dogs are welcome, but must stay on the trail.
Proceeds from the events are donated to a local non profit organization.
2024 Summer Run #1 on 07/09/2024 benefits 208 Recovery North, State Certified Recovery Support Specialists who are invested in the well-being of their communities and genuinely care about helping others overcome the challenges and barriers associated with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. www.208recoverynorth.org
2024 Summer Run #2 on -07/16/2024 benefits Team Hoyt Coeur d'Alene. Team Hoyt runners (pushers) are matched with a wheel chair bound individual (rider) who experiences the excitement of crossing the finish line! Team Hoyt provides all racing chairs, registrations and essentials for the pushers and the riders. Proceeds and donations will support the teams for future events. https://teamhoytcda.com
