Texas Too Hot 5K & 15K Texas Too Hot 15K

Welcome to our 14th year of Texas Too Hot at Boerne Lake! Join us at the lake for a great Saturday of racing, celebrating and soaking up the Texas sun!

5K & 15K start time: 7:30 am (This is not a wave start race. All runners will start at the same time. Winners will be determined by gun time.)

Kid's 1K start time: 7:00 am

Texas Too Hot is the only race held at the lake and your registration fee covers the cost of park entry! It's the perfect race to bring your family and friends to spectate or join in on the run.

 
Your registration includes: Texas Too Hot race tee, finisher's medals, park entry, and an insulated tote bag for the first 400 registrants!
Bring your picnic fixings and plan to spend the afternoon in the cool spring-fed Boerne City Lake. You can use your new Texas Too Hot tote to bring all your after-race fixings!
The course will take you across the dam and out into the beautiful hill country neighborhoods. The course is hilly and will challenge your running legs! Please remember to be courteous to our neighbors and stay to the side of the road.

To be guaranteed your race tee, you must register before June 12th. The first 400 to register will receive our 2023 Texas Too Hot insulated tote bag.

Please use the exact GPS location below when traveling to the lake. It is located outside the city of Boerne.

Packets will not be available after 7pm. 

Race Site packet pickup will be available from 6:30am until 7:25am on the morning of the race. Please allow yourself plenty of time if you need to pick up your packet the morning of the race as we have a lot of runners who join us from out of town!

Race Day:
6:30 am: Registration & Packet Pickup
7:00 am: 1K start
7:25 am: Packet Pickup Ends
7:30 am: 5K & 15K start
9:00 am: Awards and raffles

Race tanks cannot be traded for different sizes until after the completion of the race. 
Race day registration will be limited. We can only accept cash or check.
No online registration will take place after July 12th at 7pm. 
Shirt sizes are only guaranteed for those who registered before June 12th.
1K registrants will receive a youth sized tee and must also be registered before June 12th to guarantee sizing.

Refund Policy:
To produce an awesome race like Texas Too Hot, we coordinate our efforts and plan well in advance, making it difficult and costly to make changes after registration. Medals, bibs, shirts and other items are ordered months before the race and purchased according to the original information provided during registration. As a result, and similar to other races in the industry, Texas Too Hot (and other Split Second Production/iRun Races) does not offer refunds of registration fees for any reason. In addition, release forms and emergency content are specific to the individual participant. Therefore, we do not offer refunds, deferrals, or allow runners to switch bibs under any circumstances. Transferring such information would be a liability to the participant as well as the race. This policy applies to individuals with injuries, unexpected business, family emergencies, etc. There are no exceptions.
