Mark Mellon Triathlon & 5k Sprint Triathlon - Individual

Race packet pickup & late registration will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024 from 6:30-7:30 a.m. at the Otsego Lake County Park (under the pavilion). All competitors must check in and receive race numbers/timing chip before 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Sprint Triathlon (750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run)- 8am

Course: swim in county park swim area, bike clockwise around Otsego Lake, run 5k N to turnaround on Fowler Lk. Rd.

Wetsuits will be allowed, average water temperature this time of year is about 72 degrees, swim caps are optional

Sprint Triathlon Relay- may be 2 or 3 person teams, 8AM start

Kayak Triathlon (1 mile paddle, 20k bike, 5k run) 8:05AM start, must have a pfd on the boat or person during paddle portion

Kids Swim/Run (100 meter swim, 1/2 mile run)- 9:45AM start

5k Run- 8:30AM start

Course: N out of county park to turnaround on Fowler Lk. Rd. Out and back course.

Tshirts: those that sign up after August 1st are not guaranteed a shirt.

Awards: 10:30AM as soon as Kids Swim/Run finished, Top 3 overall male and female in Sprint Tri will receive prize money

Top male and female in Kayak Tri and 5k will receive prize money

Top 3 in 10 year age groups will receive award in both Sprint Tri, Kayak Tri & 5k

15 & under, 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, etc.

All Kids Swim/Run participants will receive award

All Kids Swim/Run participants are Free (must still sign waiver of liability)

There will be post race food and drink.
