Mayor's Run for the Trails 5K 2024 + Kids Fun Run Kids Fun Run - 100 meters

The registration fee includes a short-sleeve dri-fit t-shirt. If you register after 7/7/24, your shirt size is not guaranteed. We will do our best to increase shirt sizes in quantities before the order is placed to accommodate runners. We apologize in advance if you order a shirt after July 7th and we no longer have that size available. The 5K walk and Kids Fun Runs will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K Run at 8:15 a.m. View (PDF) the map of the race.

5K Registration Fees: If you are participating in the walk, your start time will be 8:00 a.m. to ensure that the prizes can be awarded after the runners cross the finish line.

• Before 7/6/24: $30
• 7/7/24-7/20/24: $35
• 7/21/24-8/9/24: $40

Kids Fun Runs Registration Fees:

• Before 7/25/24: $10
• 7/26/24-8/9/24: $15

Age groups for fun run: The kid's dash and the 0.62 around the lake are fun, untimed dashes for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and medal! (If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!) The swag will be given out during packet pickup on Friday, August 9.

• 100-meter kids fun run: ages 2-5
• 0.62 around the lake: ages 6-10

Chip Timing: Each 5K participant will have their run/walk chip timed. Course Maps: Maps for the 5K and kid's fun runs are posted below.

Packets: We encourage participants to pick up their packets on Friday, August 9, from 4-6 p.m. at Fitness Sports, Johnston. If you are unable to pick them up on Friday, packets will be available on race morning. 

Athlete Swag: T-shirts and medals will be provided for the runners. 

Food: We will partner with a local grocer to provide after-race food. 

Photos: Photos will be taken during the event of the runners. We encourage you to take a selfie and tag us using #MayorsRunforTrails2024.

Prizes by Age Group: Prizes for top females and males will be awarded to the following age groups:
