The Mike Ariens Run/Walk is a community event presented by AriensCo in Brillion, Wisconsin, to promote health, wellness and community in honor of the late Mike Ariens. The 10K and 5k run/walk features a route along the Mike Ariens “Run for Life” Trail, AriensCo conservation land, through downtown Brillion and the trail system at Ariens Nordic Center.

Several elements of the Mike Ariens Run/Walk are unique to further remember and honor Mike. Mike loved to run and always wore a bucket hat. He also loved ice cream! To this day, AriensCo employees remember Mike every year on his birthday with an ice cream treat. Every participant and volunteer will receive a Mike Ariens Run/Walk Bucket Hat and will enjoy an ice cream treat at the finish line celebration!
Race day is Saturday, Aug. 17, with an 8:00 a.m. start at AriensCo corporate office (Plant 1) for the 10K, followed by the 5K start. Both races finish at Ariens Nordic Center where participants can enjoy ice cream and to receive their Mike Ariens Run/Walk medals. Top finishers and overall age awards will also be presented!
Kids Run 1K race day is Friday, August 16th with a 6:00 p.m. start at Ariens Nordic Center. The start and finish line will be at Ariens Nordic Center. Participants can enjoy ice cream and receive their Mike Ariens Run/Walk medals. Kids Run 1K race day will not have overall awards. Live music on the patio, drinks, and food for purchase will be available from 5pm-8pm.
Packet Pick-Up:
5k and 10k Registrants can pick up their packets at the Ariens Nordic Center Trailhead building on Friday, August 16th from 10am-8pm. Live music on the patio, drinks, and food for purchase will be available from 5pm-8pm. Join the patio party to get race ready!
Kids Run 1K packet pick up will be at the Ariens Nordic Center Trailhead from 10am-5:45pm.
You are allowed to pick up packets for other participants.
Day of Packet Pick-Up:
10K and 5k participants can pick up their packets at the start line at the Ariens Co Corporate Headquarters (Plant 1) the day of the race from 7:00am-7:45am
Kids Run registrants can pick up their packets at the Ariens Nordic Center Trailhead building on Friday, August 16th from 10am-5:45pm prior to race start at 6pm
