This is a FREE race - we'll provide food and drinks (Tailwind/Gatorade) - but bring some of your own fuel as well. The aid station is under a large park shelter right next to the parking area so you can use your car as your own personal aid station!
WHEN: August 17th at 8AM (10 hour cutoff)
COURSE: The run is a moderately difficult 10 mile figure 8 loop with a single aid station in the middle. (see link to loop on Strava - https://www.strava.com/routes/3127321718973675108) and course map here. This course is at beautiful Valley Falls State Park just east of Fairmont, WV. Elevation gain is approximately 1500ft per loop. This race is free, but the tradition is to bring your own food to contribute to the aid station or to eat yourself. The course will be marked.

WVMTR: Joining WVMTR (West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners) is not necessary to participate in this event, but we encourage you to support our events by becoming members. CAMPING: There is no camping at Valley Falls State Park but there is at nearby Coopers Rock and Tygart Lake State Park
