Run for Freedom Kid's Run

Join us for an in-person 5k and 1 mile walk in beautiful Sheffield Village. Proceeds benefit Brookside High School Robotics and the Athletic Department for weight equipment.

Pulled Pork, French Fries and Cole Slaw will be provided for all participants!

Event Schedule

• 7:30 a.m.- Registration and Packet Pick-Up
• 8:40 a.m. - Opening Ceremony
• 9:00 a.m. - 5K Race Starts
• 9:01 a.m. - 1 Mile Walk Start
• 9:45 a.m. - Approximate time for 5K Award Ceremony
• 10:00 a.m. - Kid's Run begins on track

Pre-registration

• 5K Run- $25
• 1 Mile Walk - $25
• Kid's Run - $5

All mailed pre-registered entries must be received by Sunday, August 13, 2023. Click the Paper Registration link to download and mail the PDF.

Race Perks

• Timed race with live, online results
• Pulled Pork, French Fries and Cole Slaw will be provided for all participants
• Pre-Registered Runners will receive a t-shirt and goody bag (except Kid's Run)
• Refreshments for walkers & runners following the race.
• Kid's Run: All kids will receive a finisher medal

• Top man and top woman overall will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to The Backpackers Shop
• Top Three (3) men and women in the following age categories will receive an award:
• 13 & Under, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
