4th Annual Pete Leneghan Entrepreneurship Foundation Run 5k Run/Walk

Join us for the fourth annual Pete Leneghan Entrepreneurship Foundation Run/Walk, which was created in memory of local entrepreneur, Pete Leneghan.  Pete was a modern-day pioneer in the Tremont and Detroit Shoreway neighborhoods when he opened the Treehouse in 1996 and Stone Mad Pub in 2008.

Pete's memory and love for the community are being celebrated during this 5k and 1-mile fun run/walk on September 1, which is just four days shy of Pete's birthday.

START TIME

8:30 a.m.- Race Day Registration/Packet Pick-up

9:30 a.m.- 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk

REGISTRATION FEES

5K Run/ Walk (Chip Timed) and 1 Mile Walk (not timed)

$30 pre-registration until 9:00 am Friday August 30
$35 after 9am on August 30

Top 3 male and 3 female overall as well as the top three male and female in the following age categories:

15 & Under, 16-22, 23-30, 31-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & Over 

WHAT YOU GET 

• T-shirts designed by GV Art guaranteed for those registered by Tuesday, August 20 (shirts are unisex). Subject to Availability after the 20th.
• Runners will also receive one free taco box from Barrio's Food Truck, which includes a taco, chips, salsa, and guac. Additional taco boxes may be purchased between 9:30am–1:30pm while supplies last. 
• 1 post-race beer included (21 and over)
• B-Tag Chip Timing

SMALL BUSINESS GRANT

A monetary contribution of $10,000 will be awarded to a small business owner who is making an impact in our community. To nominate a small business for the award, please send a brief email to: [email protected] answering the questions below:
