Katy Back 2 School 5K - Sponsored by KARC Katy Back 2 School Kids K and Family Walk

The Katy Back 2 School 5k will be held on Labor Day, Monday September 2, 2024 from the Villagio Town Center in Cinco Ranch.  The 8th Annual Katy Back to School 5k will be a chipped timed race on a certified course benefiting Ainsley's Angels and Lunches of Love.  All registrants prior to Aug 25th will receive a race shirt and a chipped bib. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate all entries up to race day. Awards will be given for overall winners and age group awards for each 10 year group.

5K Race proceeds will benefit Ainsley's Angels of America. In addition to ensuring everyone can experience endurance events, Ainsley's Angels of America aims to build awareness about America's special needs community through inclusion in all aspects of life. Serving as advocates to providing education and participating as active members in local communities, Ainsley's Angels believe everyone deserves to be included.

For our second year we are also offering a kids 1k race. It is un- timed but full of fun and participants receive a medal for their efforts. This special race benefits Lunches of Love. Lunches of Love, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to helping end childhood hunger in Fort Bend County by providing a free nutritious sack lunch during extended school holidays and weekends.

Katy Area Running Club (KARC) is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization through our association with RRCA serving area runners and the local running community. All runners and walkers are welcomed.
